Praahis Enterprises ("Praahis," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Praahis restaurant management platform, including the website praahis.me, the QR-based ordering system, the Kitchen Display System (KDS), the Manager Dashboard, and all related mobile and web applications (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service, whether you are a restaurant owner/manager ("Restaurant Partner"), a restaurant staff member ("Staff User"), or a dine-in customer ("Customer").

2.1 Restaurant Partners & Staff Users

• Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, role, and restaurant affiliation.
• Business Information: Restaurant name, address, GST/PAN numbers (if provided), table configurations, and menu data.
• Payment Information: Bank account or UPI details for receiving payouts. We do not store complete credit/debit card numbers on our servers.
• Usage Data: Login timestamps, feature usage analytics, device type, browser, IP address, and session duration.

2.2 Customers (Dine-in / QR Ordering)

• Order Information: Items ordered, table number, order timestamps, order value, and payment method chosen.
• Device Information: Browser type, device identifier (for session continuity), and IP address.
• Optional Information: Name, phone number, or email — only if you choose to provide them for order tracking, feedback, or future promotions.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Cookies & Local Storage: We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain user sessions, remember preferences, and ensure smooth ordering experiences.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics to improve our platform (e.g., page views, feature usage patterns).

3. How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery: Processing orders, managing tables, facilitating payments, and sending order status notifications.
• Account Management: Creating and managing user accounts, authenticating logins, and handling password resets.
• Communication: Sending transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts), platform updates, and support responses.

• Cloud Infrastructure: With Supabase (our backend-as-a-service provider) for data storage and real-time functionality.
• Restaurant Partners: Customer order data is shared with the respective restaurant to fulfill the order. Restaurants can see order details but not raw customer device data.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Security

• All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/SSL.
• Data at rest is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.
• Authentication uses industry-standard protocols with hashed passwords (never stored in plain text).
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that users can only access data relevant to their restaurant and role.
• We conduct regular security reviews and follow PCI-DSS guidelines for payment-related data.

6. Data Retention

• Restaurant Partner & Staff Data: Retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days after account closure, unless deletion is requested.
• Customer Session Data: Temporary sessions are automatically cleaned up after inactivity (typically 30–60 minutes). Order history is retained as part of the restaurant's records.
• Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
